What Is FaceTite?
FaceTite is an FDA-approved cosmetic treatment that combines liposuction and radiofrequency technology to eliminate fat and tighten skin. Thermal energy is directed into the dermal plane for tissue remodeling and fat coagulation. It is a minimally invasive procedure that involves tiny incisions for inserting the cannula, thus reducing downtime.
Creases, wrinkles, and sagging skin can make you look tired, but with FaceTite in Dallas, it is easier to smooth away these lines. The dual action of this cosmetic treatment targets sagging skin and fat deposits in the lower face and other small areas of the body. Without extensive surgery, this innovative treatment can reshape your facial structure, especially the neck area.
Am I a Good Candidate for FaceTite?
The ideal candidates for FaceTite treatments are individuals in good overall health and with realistic expectations. It is best performed on patients with moderate skin laxity and excess fat in the submental region. If you are not ready for a facelift yet, FaceTite may be recommended for you. If you are pregnant or have serious health conditions, you may not be a good candidate for this facial-rejuvenation procedure.
The Procedure
The FaceTite procedure starts with the administration of local anesthesia to ensure patient comfort. Then, incisions will be made and the liposuction cannula will be inserted. A device which emits radiofrequency waves will be applied on the target areas. As the device liquefies the fat, it is suctioned out. The whole process usually takes about an hour.
Your Consultation
A physical examination of your target areas will be performed to assess your concerns. A review of your medical history will be conducted to confirm your eligibility for the treatment. You will be asked about underlying conditions and current medications. Discuss your motivations, as well as cosmetic goals, so that a customized treatment plan can be developed to specifically address your issues.
The Recovery Process
It may take a few days to recover from a FaceTite treatment. You may be wearing a compression garment to help lessen bruising and swelling. For the first few days, you may need to wear it around the clock. After several days, you may only need to wear the compression garment at night. Numbness may persist for a few more days, so there may be minimal pain during recovery.
You may be able to resume your normal routine after several days. It may take a week or so before you can go back to your exercises, but avoid strenuous activities until you are fully healed.
Cost of FaceTite Treatments
There are several factors that can affect the cost of your FaceTite treatment. The overall cost will be impacted by the complexity of the procedure and number of treated areas. The anesthetic fees will also be factored into the pricing.
